Elvenson Nelson is a public-sector governance specialist, institutional advisor, and strategic communicator with more than a decade of professional experience across government administration, institutional operations, and media engagement.

Through True Sense LLC, he provides advisory, training, and strategic support to institutions, organizations, and leaders seeking to strengthen governance practices, improve institutional performance, and expand their impact.

Public sector & governance expertise

A significant portion of Elvenson's career has been dedicated to public administration and municipal financial oversight. He served as National Coordinator of Financial Controllers within Haiti's Ministry of Interior and Local Authorities, supervising a nationwide network of approximately sixty financial controllers responsible for supporting municipal financial management and accountability. In this role, he contributed to strengthening financial governance and the operational effectiveness of local government institutions.

Municipal governance engagement

From October 2014 to June 2016, he served as a member of a ministerial commission responsible for supporting the administration of the Municipality of Petit-Goâve. The assignment involved working alongside national authorities and local stakeholders to ensure administrative continuity and institutional coordination during a complex period in municipal governance.

Institutional operations & leadership

Elvenson currently contributes to the public education system in Florida through Broward County Public Schools, where he supports operational supervision and facility management. His work emphasizes efficiency, safety, and service excellence within institutional environments.

Cultural & creative sector engagement

Since 2017, Elvenson has been part of the support team assisting the career development of internationally recognized Christian artist Maestro Jean René Charles, contributing to strategic coordination around cultural and ministry-related initiatives.

Media & public dialogue

He served as technical advisor and co-host of the radio program Vision du Soldat, broadcast on Radio Méga, addressing leadership, civic engagement, and social development.
